Tech Leads on Cooling Inflation; Apple Hits Record High

The S&P 500 rose 0.38% to 7,572.40, Nasdaq gained 0.62% to 26,269.23, and the Dow added 0.29% to 52,658.64. US stocks rose on Wednesday, lifted by gains in Big Tech, a bullish outlook from chip equipment maker ASML, and a softer-than-expected wholesale inflation reading. Apple gained 4%, hitting a new all-time high.
